![]() ![]() In-depth knowledge on laser safety guidelines as written in ANSI Z136.1. ![]() Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with diverse audiences and to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.Demonstrated experience in training and coaching technical staff and providing safety training to personnel.Research and development skills to improve the methods and programs.Extensive experience in the design, development, and optimization of radiation shielding, safety devices, and radiation machines.Ability to conduct radiation safety risk assessment, mitigation, and crisis management.In-depth knowledge of radiation protection regulations at federal, state and local levels.Expert level knowledge in radiological hazard identification, safety analysis, and dose, shielding, and activation calculation.Advanced level experience designing and managing technical and operational functions of radiation safety and laser safety programs.To be successful in this role, you will bring: Eight years of applicable experience in health physics and program management performing duties similar to those listed above and or a combination of education and relevant experience. Advanced degree and/or certification(s) or experience may be required for some programs. Bachelor’s degree in health physics, radiation physics, medical physics, nuclear engineering, or related field. ![]()
